We have received reports that students are having problems sending email. This appears to be true regardless if they are trying to send to a TCC employee, TCC student, or another account (such as Gmail, Comcast, etc). The reports are sporadic and the results are not consistent. The same holds true for students receiving email. In testing we have found that groups will receive an email immediately, while others may have it deferred for quite some time before it is received. Our student email is hosted by Microsoft and they have acknowledged that there is service problem, but they have not included details on the nature of the issue, nor a time to resolution. Our staff members who are responsible for the email system have submitted a ticket to Microsoft and will are working to escalate the problem for faster resolution.
